Which links are affiliate links?

How this affects what we recommend
It doesn’t. No brand pays us for a placement, a ranking, or a favourable write-up, and no brand sees our content before it is published. If a combo is not good enough to recommend, we don’t recommend it — commission or no commission.
Commissions do not vary meaningfully between the products we cover, so there is no financial reason for us to push one combo over another. Where we think a cheaper option is the better buy, we say so.

We deliberately avoid printing prices on this site. Retail prices on fishing gear change constantly, and a stale price helps nobody. Always check the current price on the retailer’s own page before buying.
